Several hundred individuals and staff from Thrive Upstate joined Greenville County elementary, middle, and high schools for the 2019 Special Olympics held at Furman University on 4/24/19. Thrive Upstate was honored by having one of our individuals carry the Olympic torch to kick off the games.
Thrive Upstate participated in the “Festival of Friendship” at the J.L. Mann High School Track on Sunday, April 7th from 3:00 – 6:00 pm. The event was free to attend and featured music, motivational speakers, games, food, and information booths from various organizations such as Thrive Upstate.

put on an informative Brain Injury Awareness Event last week.
The stories they told and demonstrations of how the brain responds to injury were unforgettable.
Thrive Upstate staff, drummers and spectators gathered at NOMA Square, downtown Greenville on March 29th, 2019. It was our first “Drumming Up Awareness” event and a great way to end Disabilities Awareness Month.
Thrive Upstate is the largest and oldest provider of services to people with disabilities in Greenville County, aged birth through end of life. Currently offering a wide variety of services and supports at low or no cost to families and individuals.
